Organisation and members
AGRINATURA has two pillars - An Association, open to all European agricultural research and education organisations, and a European Economic Interest Grouping (AGRINATURA-EEIG), as its operational arm.
AGRINATURA encompasses 35 universities and research organisations from 18 European countries working with agricultural research, education, training and capacity strengthening for development.

The two main functions of AGRINATURA-Association are:
- Policy advocacy for agricultural research and education for development in Europe and worldwide
- Encouraging networking and partnerships between institutions, organisations and individuals

The two main functions of AGRINATURA-EEIG are:
- Developing and strengthening strategic alliances and partnerships with and between different stakeholders in development, both in the North and in the South
- Organising, facilitating and implementing joint participation of its members in European and international programmes and projects.
